STARS - Osttirol
12 images, taken 2020 - now
How might it appear on a photography, if the stars were sharp and din't move, only earth did - just like it actually is?
How can this get banned on film? And what will be visible on this image?
Will earth still be recognisable? Will there be a fusion between earth and stars?
Could this perhaps be a kind of divine or universal perspective on our world?
STARS - Osttirol is a cooperation between Paul Schneggenburger and Christof Gaggl.
Each image of STARS is one analog long exposure. The exposing time varies from 30 minutes up to several hours. The self constructed cameras are mounted on motor driven tripods for astrophotography which visually counterbalance the rotation of the earth.
